One of the UK’s top architecture practices, known for their work across commercial, residential, urban design, housing and masterplanning are looking for a Sustainability Lead with experience of carbon analysis and embodied carbon strategies to join their London studio.
This is a crucial role working closely with the director across a wide range of projects where you will be responsible for leading and supporting best practice approaches. You will be responsible for a small team and will lead the development and maintainence of the studios sustainable design objectives and operations. You will also be responsible for leading design reviews and upskilling staff in the best use of environmental design tools on projects.
You will have experience of developing passive design, whole life and embodied carbon strategies
You will have advanced knowledge of environmental modelling and building analysis tools and softwares
You will be client facing and able to confidently consultant the team on planning policy and environmental standards
You will have experience of leading a small team and giving direction to more junior peers
You will have worked across a range of projects and scales delivering sustainable outcomes
A good understanding of BREEAM, WELL and LEED or similar
You will have worked at a leading architecture practice in a similar role
