One of the UK’s top architecture practices, known for their work across commercial, residential, urban design, housing and masterplanning are looking for a Design Manager with a background working as an architect to join their creative London studio.
This is a crucial role working across a wide range of projects leading the coordination and delivery of design across large-scale and complex projects. You’ll manage internal teams and external consultants, ensuring outputs meet programme, quality, and compliance standards. The role involves close collaboration with clients, overseeing design progress, managing fees and appointments, and ensuring design excellence from concept to completion.
You will have experience managing the full design process on large-scale or complex projects
You will have strong coordination skills across internal teams and external consultants
You will have client facing experience and will be confident in creating presentations, fee proposals, and contract negotiation
You will be commercially aware, with experience in budgeting, invoicing, and resource planning
You will be qualified Architect with excellent communication and leadership skills; InDesign proficiency is a plus
You will have worked at a leading architecture practice or contractor in a similar role
